I was 4-2 last week with predictions bringing the total to 10-6! I was impressed with a couple squads including the Warriors, Rockets, and Grizzlies. All showed tremendous heart and willingness to battle all game. That is what it's going to take this season. No crying for calls, no excuses, no nothing. Show up and show out. Top 12 get a ticket to the dance. Some teams have boosted their chances with an addition. Others have stood pat. It is going to get intense pretty soon as every game matters. December 11th is our last day before the holiday break. Season restarts on January 8th, 2023. Let's get it.
3PM RAPTORS vs ROCKETS – (ROCKETS + 12)
Raps with a long layoff and that will hurt them early on in the season. Rockets have some momentum and they will look to capitalize on Sunday. Still haven't seen their best but so far they have shown flashes of potential. Prepare for lift off.
4PM HEAT vs THUNDER – (THUNDER + 21)
The Heat are going to get slapped worse than Chris Rock on Sunday. Instead of arguing with the other team they will be busy arguing amongst themselves as the Thunder are going to feast on them. Hopefully, GM Witness will waive the white flag in the middle of the 2nd half and he can save us the trouble of watching this beatdown.
430PM MAGIC vs PISTONS – (MAGIC + 5)
I am going with the young new squad over the old veteran team. The Magic have athletes and they should be able to use their speed and athleticism to take advantage of the Pistons. They have been known to choke so I am not completely confident but I will roll the dice.
5PM LAKERS vs SIXERS – (SIXERS + 10)
Lakers are tough but I need to see some consistency. Playin well for a few minutes at a time ain't going to cut it in ETBL. The Sixers are loaded and if they show up full squad...it's night night for the boys in purple. It is go time for Philly and they gonna make a statement in this one.
530PM BUCKS vs CLIPPERS – (CLIPPERS + 13)
Clip City is in the building and they gon rock out. They been on a mission since getting trampled by the Thunder and so all the teams better be prepared. Ajahmo been nice but he got help now and they are a scary team. Bucks are decent but I am putting them in the pretender category along with the Heat.
6PM CAVALIERS vs PACERS – (PACERS + 3)
Abeku vs Duzan will be the headline but the game probably comes down to the bigs and that is where the Pacers should have a considerable edge. Abeku will have to be good again and get some help from Maz and Rose to make this one a battle which I believe they will.
