Happy Easter to those that celebrate it! I took a week off to focus because there’s so much happening around the league with guys adding players, EVEN AFTER THE REGISTRATION! The amount of talent in this league is insane! It is incredible to see the amount of talent from all across the city come together to put on a show for a chance at that illusive ETBL CHAMPIONSHIP! Anyways here are my predictions!
3:30PM HEAT vs PISTONS – (HEAT +2)
This will be a potential playoff preview as I gave both teams going deep in the playoffs. This game will have huge ramifications league wide. If the Heat win, The Heat are back! Call off the season and GM Omar go on stage and talk about the number of championships the Heat are expected to win! If the Pistons win, best believe the Heat will be looking at add more talent to their already talented team. Normally I’d give the advantage to the team that has stayed relatively the same for 3 seasons! However, the number of athletic hoopers on the Heat will be too much for the Pistons. Pistons will look to play Zone, lets see if they will live and die by the zone!
4:30PM NETS vs RAPTORS – (RAPTORS +10)
After a stunning loss to the Bulls, the Raptors made some key moves by adding Season 4 MVP Kris! Commish told me the Raptors organization blew up his phone after the loss to the Bulls. Sources indicate Raptors front office tried to add Pro-Am players, D1 players, ex NCCA athletes and were on the verge of adding a former NBA star (Carmelo Anthony) but Commish and the Raptors organizations “settled” on the Season 4 MVP. The Nets need to be ready to make a few calls of their own lol. It does look like they added Anthony Guada and so he will definitely make a difference to the Nets squad.
5:30PM BULLS vs WOLVES – (BULLS +14)
This Bulls team is going to be a problem! After a convincing win last week… sidenote not sure what Professor X was thinking in the Power Rankings, but I’ve got this team as a legitimate top 3 in the league! This team has a legitimate starting 5 that can keep up with the other elite teams in the league. The big three of Davion, Zaid and Shang are going to be a problem all season long. Add in Aarusan who dropped 27 points in his debut game!!! This kid is special and has a bright future playing next to some great talent. All this team is another big and they are legit championship contenders! The Wolves lead by Mayo and Jalen need the step up big to make a statement!
5:30PM BLAZERS vs MAGIC – (BLAZERS +21)
Blazers are going to give the magic a beatdown! Magic need something magical to save their season. GM Alvin and the chipmunks aren’t cut for elite as constructed. Blazers big three of Duzan (Season 5 MVP), Michael (Season 7 MVP) and Josh are going to be a problem. Throw in ETBL competitive MVP (Garan) and add in their role players this team will be a problem. Something magically needs to happen for this to not be a beatdown! Damion needs to play like Damion! Vasko needs to turn the clock back and play like a DPOY (front season 4). The Magic bigs need to play like Shaq and to beat the quick Blazer team!
6:30 ROCKETS vs WIZARDS – (ROCKETS +3)
Only reason why I put Rockets +3 is for my guy ROMAIN MCALLA! Let the show begin for the hottest free agent to enter the league. This guy will steal the show this Sunday. My early pick for Newcomer Of The Year!
6:30 KNICKS vs LAKERS – (LAKERS +10)
Lakers have way too many athletes on this team to for the Knicks. Tafari Black will keep this game from being a blowout but otherwise Lakeshow rolls on. Happy Easter ya'll.
