- WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS -

WRITTEN BY: STEPHEN A. KELLERMAN

Welcome to week 4 of ETBL Elite! J.Cole just dropped his diss track against Kendrick Lamar and that got me amped. Two G.O.A.T's going at it is not something I was expecting and there is another couple heavyweights going at it this Sunday as well. Remember, y'all don't need to ask who writes this stuff...just work on your game and prove me wrong! Let's work.

3:30PM RAPTORS vs ROCKETS – (RAPTORS +10)

Who would have thought this Raptors team would be this bad? Number 1 on the Power Rankings maybe got them overconfident...or targeted...not completely sure. The Raptors need to make a statement though. Not sure what Christian was doing coaching on the sidelines with a clipboard. If Christian is injured...'Houston we have a problem'. Between Christian coaching on the sidelines...questionable line up choices and then Janath playing like he forgot how to shoot a basketball...the Raptors look lost and are searching for answers. The Raptors front office however, has been working the phone and somehow secured some more talent. They went into the luxury tax and acquired Kapi and former MVP Kris G. Is that enough? Will that make them serious contenders? I think it will give them a boost for sure. For the Rockets, lookout for Romain to be their MAIN option and put on an offensive clinic. Can the other guys help him out? Lush, Harvey and Matthew need to give them another option to rely on or else this will be too predictable. Commish wanted me to start the 1000 career point watch for Anthony on the Raptors. 7 points away from reaching a an impressive milestone in ETBL Elite!

4:30PM NETS vs WIZARDS – (NETS +16)

Ladies and gentleman...it’s official...the Nets have arrived! After picking up free agent Anthony Guada the Nets are legitimate title contenders. After a statement blowout against the Raptors, the Nets look to extend their winning streak against the Wizards. Not quite sure what to say about the Wizards...the only winless team in the league. I’ll show a little love to the Wizards for their outstanding jersey (might be a top 3 in the league) but other than that GM Lewmar and Shavaughn better figure it out. Shak and Christian are capable but so far they just haven't meshed very well. Shavaughn had a rediculous dunk last week but they gon need more from him against the Nets to keep this competitive. The Nets lead by Mithun, Anthony and Jahlove are going to a problem. Wizards need some real magic for them to win this game.

5:30PM KNICKS vs WOLVES – (WOLVES +10)

OH MY LORD! My Knicks are struggling! I am not totally suprised since they have a bunch of new faces to ETBL. This league is tough and there are no easy games. Okay, maybe their first game was lol. Tafari black is special but it is going to have to take him having incredible shooting performances plus get some contributions from the others. The Knicks have some pieces I like...Bronson and Drew Sanderson can ball and they just all have to put it together at the same time. Too much talent on the Wolves and so I expect them to get their shit together. Mayo and Jaylen will look to put on a show and take this much needed win. The role players need to understand their roles and the stars have to come to play. This goes for both teams.

5:30PM BLAZERS vs HEAT – (HEAT +9)

The main event of ETBL will have a show down between two of the best teams in the league! The Blazers vs the boys from South Beach! This one should be incredible and a potential finals matchup.  If there is any team that can keep up with the Heat it will be the Blazers. They have 3 ETBL MVP’s and a strong supporting cast. Ultimately, I think the athletes on the Heat will be too much for Blazers to overcome. Their size, skill, and endurance is impressive and the Blazers are going to have to not only shoot the lights out but guard all game. This will be close till the half then the Heat will turn up and slowly melt the Blazers away.

6:30PM LAKERS vs PISTONS – (PISTONS +5)

Pistons are going to going to be too much size for the Lakers but I do believe the Lakers are going to be too fast for the Pistons and so I can see it being a close game. After getting annihilated by the Heat, the Pistons will be looking to right the ship and get back to contender status in ETBL Elite. A lot of trash talking from some of the Pistons players last week and so they are probably not in a good mood and will look to take it out on the Lakeshow. Tristan, Khaleel and Daniel can definitely make some noise and punish the pistons in transition but the Pistons will look to keep it a halfcourt game and so I think they squeeze this out.

6:30PM MAGIC vs BULLS – (BULLS +50)

The Bulls are going to manhandle the Magic. Last week I predicated something magical would need to happen for the Magic to win. I guess that clearly did NOT happen. This week, unless the Bulls do not have 5 players in uniform, there is no way the Bulls lose this. The Commish really needs help this team out somehow. Add David Blaine to the squad so at least he can distract the other team with tricks. Another trick they have successfully pulled off is making their best player disappear. Where the heck is Nena? Do they have a chance to win the chip without him...nono. Without him this team is a very good Comp Division team. Damion is doing all he can but they need another legit option. Bulls gon drop an easy hundo. Magic might half that.
